Our experience with Chiguru has been amazing, to say the least. We have learned to parent our child through understanding what the child's needs truly are and how we can create an environment that complements that of the school. We've seen our child evolve and learn basic life skills and art that nourish his soul and peak his enthusiasm. Chiguru didn't just teach our child but gave us insight that helped us discover what we want for our children, something that mainstream schools can never provide and even thwart. We'll always be thankful to Chiguru, knowing that our child's foundation is strong and they can achieve anything in the future because of that.

The Chiguru Waldorf education excites kids and makes them want to learn. As parents,  we recognized the need for talented adults who can think outside the box and problem solve. The Waldorf system nurtures this ability in children. With computers at our fingertips, we need to educate kids to think creatively, not to regurgitate information. Our child Sanaya is quite creative in thinking and we need to give full credit to her mentors. Chiguru is a loving and supportive environment. Children learn to respect and be responsible, care deeply for each other and the natural world. She really enjoys the garden time and storytime, laughter, and poetry every day and sees happy, healthy children learning lifelong skills and finding their own paths for the future. It is truly a healing education experiment for us. We are very thankful to the founders of chiguru Prabha and Vidya madam. Thank you Chiguru Waldorf School for educating students who are free thinkers and are so confident in who they are! "Highly recommend". Thanks and regards

My younger daughter, Andrea has started her education journey with Chiguru in the year 2019. Beyond just teaching academics, Chiguru played an important role in fostering her emotional skills, relationships, identity, and overall well-being. There are few points, I would like to call out, which I felt makes this school and teachers stand out.

  • Always makes the basics a priority – Here the schooling was not about dominating with excellent marks, instead, they looked to make the school environment a more equitable place.

  • The core belief of you becomes what you are not what you want – Basically, the activities are tailored to strengthen the self within.

  • Students are seen as unique and they are heard and encouraged as individuals. The child’s individual strengths are considered and supported.

  • Diverse learning environments and methods. For example, playing in the mud, gardening, field trips, cultural exchange programs that enrich the thought process in kids, and brakes biases.

  • The curriculum was more integrative in approach.

  • Cooperation, not competition.

Also, I would like to mention, I have seen many good teachers teach a subject, but Chiguru and Prabha Madam teach learning. There are many who show our kids a mountain and teach them how others have climbed it. Prabha Madam helps your kid find their own mountains and figure out how to climb them. Prabha Madam as a teacher is reflective and diagnostic in thought. She has the power to transform many lives and create an everlasting impact.

Overall, we had a great experience.

I appreciate the efforts of Sai Prabha mam in making this possible for us. I was longing to learn parenting techniques that help me be a better parent. Sai Prabha mam has listened to me patiently whenever I had questions and she helped me with all my doubts. We were lucky enough to have attended sessions with great speakers. Though Waldorf methodology was new to me, chiguru made it interesting for us n I waited for the Saturday to learn a new topic. As an individual, I have benefited a lot by learning various things from chiguru n the experiences of other parents too. The program was well planned and coordinated by Prabha mam and Janaki mam. The singing sessions by Janaki mam were soo soothing. I wish chiguru conducts many more courses for the parents in the future too. What goes around comes around, I was thinking to give a particular kind of education to my kid n did not take admission for nursery as well. Then I came to know abt Sai Prabha mam. When she explained abt chiguru, I thought the universe gives what I conspire. Thank you Sai Prabha mam for bringing this is up and managing it nicely even during the pandemic.

The Chiguru Online program covered diversified topics from Waldorf. It was like a guidebook to be with ourselves, others and nature. Topics like sleep, nutrition, rhythms, 12 foldedness, biography, biodynamic agriculture, storytelling, lullabies, and many more were beautifully crafted and shared by Saiprabha ma'am, Janaki Amma, and experts across the domain. A 5-month long program every Saturday just flew by. Listening to the experiences of others and sharing your own helped to make a deeper connection with every topic. Whether times are tough or easy such knowledge will sail us through. I really desire that everyone in the world absorb such understanding for a better and peaceful stay on Earth.
